Hypercardioid Polar Pattern

Adopting hypercardioid polar pattern and sound wave interference technology, the SYNCO D2 is highly sensitive to certain directional sound (-32dB±3dB), and can effectively attenuates off-axis sound (-18dB) to achieve best sound pickup effect.

Solid Brass Body

CNC machined brass metal body guarantees the solid construction with high anti-interference, which is great for outdoor audio recording and crisp sound pickup. Black speckle finish allows this shotgun mic with XLR output to work normally even in the rain, and to reflect no light when filming on formal occasions.

Extremely Low Self-noise

The professional XLR shotgun mic D2 has an ultra low noise floor at 12dB (A-weighted), 24dB (CCIR 268-3). The SNR is 80dB, which means that the mic can maximally transfer the desired signal while reducing the background noise. Its broadcast audio performance precedes most microphones’ on the market.

Frequently Asked Questions

D2 has the built-in low frequency gain to enhance the low frequency and retain more bass details, which contributes to flat frequency response. It is more appropriate to use "Lower Frequency" to name this function, but we consider the specific module used in D2, and call it the Bass. They are the same function.

D2 can not be directly connected to cameras. It need 48V phantom power supply and only applies to portable sound card or mixer. If you are looking for a microphone to work with camera directly, the SYNCO D30 is recommended.

It is recommended to use the boom pole with a shotgun mic holder that fits D2 (Diameter: 19mm). Boompoles on the market are basically suitable. If the holder of the boompole does not fit, you can use the one that comes with D2, which is universal with 3/8 screw.

Please make sure that it is powered by 48V phantom power.

No, D2 only works with 48V phantom power devices such as mixer and sound card. But D1 can work with ZCAM.

D2 can not be directly connected to cameras. It need 48V phantom power supply and only applies to portable sound card or mixer. If you are looking for a microphone to work with camera directly, the SYNCO D1 is recommended.
